The Lovely M

One bright morning in September, I was sitting on a park bench outside of the Hyehwa subway station in Seoul when M sat down next to me and said "hi". She was waiting for her friend, and they were interviewing for stewardess positions with Singapore airlines. I was skipping my morning classes, had been photographing one of the temples in downtown Seoul, and had just happened to get off in Hyehwa on a whim.

We've been married for 12 years now and have two lovely daughters, who look so much like their beautiful mother. M is my endearing subject, and the focus of much of my portraiture.
